Assistant Teacher & Child Care Aide
Little Bees Child Care Center is currently hiring caring, energetic, and dependable Assistant Teachers and Child Care Aides to join our team. This is a great opportunity for individuals who enjoy working with children and want to build a career in early childhood education.
Pay
Child Care Aide: $17.00–$19.00 per hour
Assistant Teacher: $19.00–$21.00 per hour
Pay is based on qualifications and experience.
Responsibilities
- Assist teachers with daily classroom activities and routines.
- Supervise and engage children in play and learning activities.
- Support children's social, emotional, and developmental growth.
- Help maintain a clean, organized, and safe classroom environment.
- Assist with meals, snacks, transitions, and outdoor activities.
- Follow center policies and Minnesota Rule 3 licensing requirements.
- Build positive relationships with children, families, and staff.
- Participate in required training and professional development.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Experience working with children is a plus but not required.
- Positive attitude and strong teamwork skills.
- Ability to learn and follow center procedures.
- CPR/First Aid certification preferred or willingness to obtain.
- Ability to pass all required Minnesota DHS background studies.
