A Dental Assistant is a crucial member of the dental team providing chairside assistance to the dentist during various procedures. They work closely with patients to ensure their comfort and assist the dentist in providing high-quality dental care. One of the key responsibilities of a Dental Assistant is taking intraoral x-rays, which help the dentist diagnose dental issues accurately. They often interact with patients, educate them on proper oral hygiene practices, and address any questions or concerns they may have. Dental Assistants should have a strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and a compassionate demeanor to ensure patients feel at ease. This role requires the ability to multitask efficiently, prioritize patient care, and work collaboratively with the dental team.
