Guaranteed 40hrs Full-Time Pay – On-Call Position
Position Summary
We are hiring a Home Care Response Specialist / On-Call Caregiver to support our clients and care team.
This role provides guaranteed 40 hours of pay per week, even if scheduled hours are less. You will be available during business hours to cover unplanned callouts or open shifts, and may occasionally cover shifts scheduled in advance (such as staff vacations).
Based on historical data, employees in this position typically work 25–35 scheduled hours per week, with some weeks above or below this average.
About the Role
We’re hiring a Home Care Response Specialist / On-Call Caregiver to support clients and caregivers. You’ll be available during business hours 8:00am-6:00pm to respond to callouts or cover open shifts, with occasional pre-scheduled shifts.
- Guaranteed pay for 40 hours / week (even if scheduled hours are less)
- Typical workload: 25–35 hours per week, based on historical data
- Must be willing to travel throughout our service area (60 miles)
Schedule
- Weekdays: On-call Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 6 PM
- Weekend: One weekend per month (Sat–Sun). Two paid weekdays off after weekend rotation. Weekend shift differential of +$0.50/hour.
Pay & Benefits
- $18.50/hour + mileage reimbursement ($0.50/mile)
- Overtime pay for hours worked beyond 40/week

Requirements
- CNA, HHA, or caregiver experience
- High school diploma or equivalent
- CPR certification (within 60 days; we’ll help)
- Ability to lift/transfer clients and provide personal care
- Reliable transportation and willingness to travel 60 miles
