Duties
- Diagnose and repair a wide range of coffee machines, including espresso makers, brewers, grinders, and refrigeration units.
- Read and interpret technical schematics, wiring diagrams, and mechanical drawings to facilitate accurate repairs.
- Perform routine maintenance and preventative servicing to ensure optimal machine performance and longevity.
- Install new equipment and assist with assembly or setup in various commercial environments.
- Conduct field service visits using a box truck or similar delivery vehicle to reach client sites efficiently.
- Troubleshoot electrical, refrigeration, HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning), and mechanical issues with precision.
- Communicate clearly with customers about repair processes, maintenance schedules, and troubleshooting steps to enhance their experience.
Skills
- Strong appliance repair skills with experience in servicing coffee equipment or similar appliances.
- Ability to read and understand schematics, wiring diagrams, and mechanical drawings.
- Mechanical knowledge combined with electrical experience for comprehensive troubleshooting.
- Customer service skills that foster positive relationships with clients during service visits.
- Experience as a delivery driver or in field service roles involving box trucks or similar vehicles.
- Knowledge of refrigeration systems and HVAC fundamentals applicable to commercial coffee machines.
- Proficiency in assembly, equipment repair, electrical work, and basic troubleshooting techniques.
