We looking to add Welders to our team!
Shop hours are First Shift: Monday - Friday 07:00 am to 3:30 p.m. Climate Controlled Shop!
JOB FUNCTION:
Perform TIG fusion welding on carbon steel and grinding/buffing of the welds. Majority of the time you will be expected to weld under microscopes for precise welds.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Education / Experience
1. High School diploma or general education degree (GED); or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Wage: $24.00+/ hr depending on experience
Specific Job Knowledge
1. Basic knowledge of using TIG welding machines.
DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES:
1. Set up and operate TIG welding machines.
2. Fusion TIG welding.
3. Grind/buffing of the welds.
4. Weld standard parts within tolerances.
5. Select and use correct welding rods and clamps.
6. Select correct fabricated parts to weld.
7. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, sit and move around and use hands to handle objects, tools or controls.
8. The employee frequently is required to communicate.
