System Support Technician – Distribution Center
Location: Daytona Beach, FL

About the Role
We are seeking a reliable System Support Technician to provide IT support at our Distribution Center in Daytona Beach. In this role, you will troubleshoot technical issues, maintain IT equipment, and ensure smooth daily operations for our warehouse team. This is a hands-on, fast-paced position that requires flexibility and excellent problem-solving skills.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Monitor IT trouble-ticket system and resolve support emails.
- Provide technical assistance and issue resolution over the phone.
- Setup, maintain, and troubleshoot company mobile phones.
- Install, maintain, and troubleshoot desktop and laptop PCs:
- Operating system and user applications
- Routine maintenance
- Data recovery
- Hardware and software issues
- Install and manage antivirus software, and handle virus/spyware removal.
- Configure and maintain various printers (laser, thermal, impact).
- Support Microsoft embedded OS and mobile/wireless device configuration.
- Setup, configure, and troubleshoot network devices and infrastructure.
- Process approved IT requests:
- Create user accounts (warehouse and domain/AD)
- Link shared folders
- Relocate users/hardware within the facility
- Adjust user access in warehouse software
- Maintain clean and organized work areas.
- Update equipment inventory and track IT assets.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Minimum Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; relevant IT certifications preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of professional IT experience.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Must be able to interact with all levels of staff.
- Proficient in Microsoft applications.
- Knowledge of warehouse operations is a plus.
- Strong analytical and technical troubleshooting skills.
- Flexible to work various shifts including weekends, holidays, overnights, and early mornings.
Work Environment and Physical Requirements
- Distribution center environment with fluctuating temperatures.
- Must safely work around heavy equipment (forklifts, pallet jacks, reach trucks, etc.).
- Prolonged periods of sitting and working at a computer.
- Must have schedule flexibility including nights, weekends, and holidays.
