Elite Fuels Transportation Inc. is hiring an experienced Transportation Safety Clerk to support our compliance and safety operations in the Riverside, CA area.
The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, and has direct experience working in a safety or compliance environment within the fuel, petroleum, or transportation industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain driver qualification files, MVRs, medical certificates, and compliance records
- Track and manage HAZMAT permits, regulatory filings, and inspection logs
- Coordinate safety training schedules and maintain completion records
- Monitor fleet activity and safety data using Samsara
- Manage driver onboarding and DQ file workflows in Tenstreet
- Support safety audits, DOT inspections, and incident documentation
- Perform general administrative duties including data entry and recordkeeping
Experience Requirements
- 2 years+ of DOT Transportation Safety/Compliance experience — required, non-negotiable
- Experience with fleet telematics and ELD compliance reporting
- Hands-on experience with Samsara — required
- Familiarity with DOT/FMCSA regulations and driver qualification requirements
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Strongly Preferred Qualifications
- Background in the fuel, petroleum, or chemical distribution industry
- Experience complying with DOT HAZMAT Regulations
- Hands-on experience with Tenstreet
Schedule: This is a full-time, in-office role with a Monday–Friday schedule.
Start Time between 7am-9am based on operational needs.
Pay: $21.00 - $25.00 per hour
