Registered Nurse Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU)
Location: Atlanta, Georgia
Pay Rate: $1,800 To $2,016/Week
Contract: 13 Weeks
Schedule: Day Shift Weekend Block (Saturday & Sunday + 1 Weekday), 36 Guaranteed Hours/Week
Experience: Level IV/Surgical NICU experience with prior travel experience required
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced NICU Registered Nurse for a 13-week travel assignment at Arthur M. Blank Hospital in Atlanta, Georgia. This opportunity is ideal for nurses with Level IV/Surgical NICU experience who are passionate about providing specialized care to critically ill newborns in a high-acuity pediatric environment.
Responsibilities
Provide comprehensive nursing care to critically ill and premature neonates in a Level IV NICU
Assess, monitor, and manage neonatal patients with complex medical and surgical conditions
Administer medications, treatments, and interventions according to physician orders and hospital protocols
Collaborate with neonatologists, respiratory therapists, and the multidisciplinary care team to optimize patient outcomes
Maintain accurate patient documentation and deliver family-centered education and support
Float to other units as required based on patient care needs
Requirements
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
Level IV/Surgical NICU experience required
Prior travel nursing experience required
Current BLS certification required
Current PALS certification required
NRP certification preferred
Must be willing to work at least one holiday if it falls during the contract
Must pass nicotine screening (Nicotine-Free Facility)
Flu vaccination required during flu season (no medical or religious exemptions)
