Job Description
We are looking for a senior Technical Delivery Leader with a proven consulting background who has successfully delivered large technology programs within Capital Markets, Trading, Banking or Financial Services.
This is not a PMO, Agile Coach or Scrum Master position.
We are looking for someone who has led delivery from the front, partnered directly with engineering teams, managed executive stakeholders, and delivered complex technology programs under aggressive timelines.
Candidates should have previously worked within consulting organizations such as Accenture, IBM Consulting, Deloitte, EY, KPMG, PwC, Capgemini, Cognizant, Slalom, or similar firms, preferably for four or more years.
What You'll DoEnterprise Program Delivery
- Lead multiple concurrent engineering initiatives across enterprise banking and capital markets platforms.
- Drive delivery from requirements through production deployment.
- Manage delivery risks, dependencies, and cross-functional execution.
- Ensure engineering teams remain aligned with business priorities.
Client Leadership
- Partner directly with CIOs, CTOs, VPs, Directors, and Product Owners.
- Lead executive steering committee meetings.
- Present delivery roadmaps and executive updates.
- Translate business objectives into technical execution plans.
Technical Delivery
Although this is not a software engineering position, successful candidates should be comfortable discussing:

Excellent PowerPoint and presentation skills are essential.
Required ExperienceMust Have
- 15+ years of experience in technology delivery.
- 4+ years with Accenture, IBM Consulting, Deloitte, EY, PwC, Capgemini, Cognizant, Slalom, EPAM, Publicis Sapient, or similar consulting firms.
- Prior software engineering, infrastructure, or solution architecture background.
- Experience with Money Movement, Payments, Clearing, Settlement, Securities Processing, Brokerage, Wealth Management, or Investment Banking platforms.
- MBA or equivalent leadership experience.
- 8+ years leading enterprise technology programs.
- Financial Services, Banking, Trading, Payments, or Capital Markets experience.
- Experience working within consulting organizations.
- Strong executive communication skills.
- Experience leading geographically distributed engineering teams.
- Proven experience managing aggressive delivery timelines.

What Success Looks Like
Within your first six months, you'll have established trusted relationships with client executives, led multiple engineering programs through successful delivery, effectively managed complex risks and dependencies, and earned the confidence of engineering teams by balancing technical credibility with strong execution. You'll consistently deliver under pressure while maintaining high engineering standards and exceptional client satisfaction.
