Lead Line Cook
Location: Thrill Factory - Madison, WI
Pay: $22-$26 per hour (based on experience and performance)
About the Role
Thrill Factory is looking for a hardworking, high-energy Lead Line Cook who enjoys cooking and leading by example, and wants to work in a place with no limits on upward mobility.
This is NOT a kitchen manager position. We are looking for someone who wants to spend their shift cooking, keeping the kitchen moving, maintaining high standards, and helping the rest of the team succeed.
If you prefer inventory, ordering, office work, supervising from the sidelines, or watching others cook, this is not the job for you.
What You'll Do
- Cook on the line during every shift.
- Maintain a fast pace and sense of urgency.
- Lead by example through work ethic and professionalism.
- Keep ticket times low while maintaining food quality.
- Assign stations and direct traffic during busy periods.
- Help train and coach new cooks.
- Ensure every station stays clean and stocked throughout the shift.
- Hold yourself and teammates accountable to kitchen standards.
- Communicate immediately when product is running low.
- Help create a positive, team-oriented kitchen culture.
