Plant Maintenance Electrician – Bilingual Preferred
We are seeking a dependable and experienced Plant Maintenance Electrician to join our manufacturing facility. The primary responsibility of this position will be electrical maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, and installation, while also assisting with general plant maintenance and facility repairs as needed.
This is a hands-on position for someone who is comfortable working throughout an industrial manufacturing facility and understands that keeping the plant operating involves more than electrical work.
Primary Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair electrical problems throughout the facility.
- Perform preventive maintenance on electrical equipment, machinery, motors, controls, lighting, panels, and related systems.
- Assist with installation and replacement of electrical components and equipment.
- Respond to equipment breakdowns and help minimize production downtime.
- Perform general facility and building maintenance when electrical work is not required.
- Replace damaged or broken ceiling tiles.
- Repair or replace roof and wall panels as needed.
- Perform minor plumbing, mechanical, carpentry, and general building repairs.
- Assist with maintenance and repair of production equipment.
- Inspect equipment and facility conditions and report potential problems before they become major repairs.
- Maintain a clean and organized maintenance/work area.
- Follow plant safety procedures and all applicable electrical and workplace safety requirements.
- Coordinate with outside contractors when specialized repairs are required.
- Complete maintenance records and communicate completed and outstanding work to management.
Qualifications
- electrical troubleshooting and repair experience
- Industrial, manufacturing, food-processing, or similar facility experience preferred.
- Mechanical aptitude and willingness to perform a variety of maintenance duties.
- Ability to safely use electrical testing equipment, hand tools, and power tools.
- Ability to work independently and prioritize repairs based on production and safety needs.
- Dependable and willing to respond to unexpected maintenance problems.
- Knowledge of preventive maintenance practices is preferred.
- Experience with motors, control circuits, electrical panels, sensors, pumps, or industrial equipment is a plus.

This position is best suited for someone who takes ownership of the facility, notices problems before being asked, and is willing to handle the variety of work necessary to keep a manufacturing plant safe, operational, and well maintained.
Pay: From $17.50 per hour
