We are seeking a dedicated and organized Medical Receptionist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for patients, providing exceptional customer service while managing front desk operations. Duties
- Greet patients warmly and assist them with the check-in process.
- Manage phone systems to handle incoming calls, schedule appointments, and address patient inquiries.
- Perform insurance verification to ensure coverage for services rendered.
- Maintain patient files, ensuring all information is accurate and up-to-date.
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to facilitate efficient patient flow within the facility.
- Handle administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and maintaining office supplies.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Medical Receptionist or in a similar front desk role is preferred.
- Proficient in using phone systems and computer applications
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with patients and staff.
