General Manager
Job Summary
Clear Path Hospitality is seeking a dynamic and experienced General Manager to oversee the daily operations of our restaurant located in the Wakefield neighborhood of North Raleigh. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, extensive restaurant management experience, and a passion for delivering exceptional hospitality and guest experiences.
The General Manager will be responsible for leading all aspects of restaurant operations, including team development, guest satisfaction, food quality, inventory management, cost control, and overall operational excellence. This role is essential in driving the success of the restaurant by creating a positive team culture, maintaining high standards, and executing strategic initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee daily restaurant operations, including front-of-house and back-of-house execution, food preparation, service standards, and overall guest experience.
- Recruit, train, coach, and develop team members while managing performance and fostering a positive, accountable work environment.
- Manage inventory processes, including ordering, receiving, stock rotation, portion control, and waste reduction to improve profitability.
- Utilize POS systems, including Aloha POS and Micros POS, for sales tracking, reporting, cash handling, and operational management.
- Ensure compliance with all food safety, sanitation, and health department standards.
- Manage scheduling and shift execution to ensure appropriate staffing levels and smooth daily operations.
- Address guest concerns, feedback, and service recovery opportunities professionally and effectively.
- Assist with budgeting, financial reporting, labor management, and cost control initiatives.
- Oversee catering events, banquets, and special functions as needed to support revenue growth.
- Develop and execute local marketing initiatives to increase brand awareness, drive guest traffic, and promote restaurant events, specials, and community engagement opportunities.
- Partner with the leadership team on social media, promotions, staffing, and outreach efforts to strengthen the restaurant’s presence within the local community.
- Collaborate with culinary leadership on menu execution, food quality, and production standards.
- Support company initiatives and maintain alignment with Clear Path Hospitality’s standards and values.
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a General Manager or senior restaurant leader within a restaurant or food service environment.
- Strong knowledge of restaurant operations, food safety practices, kitchen management, and hospitality standards.
- Proven ability to lead, motivate, train, and develop high-performing teams.
- Experience with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS, including cash handling and reporting.
- Previous fast-casual or full-service restaurant management experience preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to resolve guest and team concerns effectively.
- Experience with inventory control, labor management, budgeting, and cost analysis.
- Culinary knowledge or food preparation experience is highly desirable.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced hospitality environment.
- Hotel, bar, catering, or banquet management experience is a plus.
- ServSafe Certification is optimal.

Salary and benefits package will be commensurate with experience. Clear Path Hospitality offers a competitive compensation package and benefits program for qualified candidates.
Pay: $60,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
