Compensation: $48.00–$70.00/hr (DOE)

We are seeking a qualified and passionate Speech Language Pathologist for a part-time, school-based assignment serving a high school-aged caseload. This position is scheduled for 3 days per week, offering flexibility while maintaining meaningful impact.
In this role, you’ll provide therapy services and support to adolescents with a variety of communication challenges, helping them strengthen skills essential for academic achievement, social development, and post-secondary readiness.
You’ll work as part of a collaborative special education team, with access to resources, mentorship (for CFs), and a manageable caseload designed to support quality service delivery.
Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations in compliance with IDEA and state standards.
Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) tailored to high school student needs.
Provide direct therapy and consultative services to students with speech and language impairments.
Maintain accurate documentation, progress reports, and service logs to ensure legal and ethical compliance.
Collaborate with teachers, parents, transition coordinators, and related service providers to support student goals.
Attend and participate in IEP meetings, multidisciplinary team meetings, and professional development activities (as scheduled within contracted hours).
Utilize evidence-based therapeutic strategies and technologies, including AAC (Augmentative and Alternative Communication).
Support inclusive practices and adapt interventions to meet the needs of diverse learners.
Provide guidance to classroom staff to help generalize communication strategies across settings.
Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
Active state licensure (or eligibility) as a Speech Language Pathologist
State Teaching Credential (or ability to obtain)
Valid Driver’s License
Excellent communication, organization, and collaboration skills
Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA
Experience working in a public high school setting or with IEPs
Familiarity with Medicaid billing practices and compliance
Cultural competency in working with diverse student populations
Clinical Fellows (CFs) are encouraged to apply — CF supervision available!
