Position Overview
We are seeking a motivated, creative, and detail-oriented Marketing & Communications Intern to support our growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for a student looking to gain hands-on experience in public relations, marketing, branding, content creation, and digital communications.
The ideal candidate is organized, eager to learn, comfortable using AI tools, and enjoys working on a variety of creative and strategic projects.
Responsibilities
You will assist with:
- Email communications
- Researching media contacts and formatting press distribution lists
- Updating and maintaining CRM databases
- Making basic website content updates (WordPress)
- Conducting research
- Assisting with event planning and coordination
- Supporting client projects as needed
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing a degree in English, Art History, Environmental Studies, Creative Writing, or a related field
- Excellent written, visual and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Comfortable using Microsoft Office and Google Workspace
- Experience with ChatGPT or other AI tools is a plus
- Basic understanding of social media platforms
- Experience with WordPress is a plus
- Ability to work independently
