We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Logistics Coordinator to manage and coordinate our domestic operations, especially focusing on shipments for automakers and retail
partners. The Logistics Coordinator will ensure efficient, timely, and compliant transportation of vehicles across the U.S., liaising with manufacturers, dealerships, internal operations,
drivers, and external partners. This role demands strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Key Responsibilities
Shipment Planning & Coordination
- Coordinate vehicle shipments from manufacturers to retailer or dealership locations across the U.S.
- Plan routes, schedules, and loading/unloading to optimize transit times and cost.
- Monitor fleet availability and distribute load assignments.
Partner & Client Liaison
- Serve as primary point of contact for automakers & retailers regarding their transport needs.
- Manage relationships and ensure service levels are met: timelines, damage reporting, documentation.
- Communicate shipment status updates, exceptions, delays, and resolutions proactively.
Operational Oversight & Tracking
- Track shipments via GPS, camera and NEXTGEN systems for visibility and safety.

- Ensure vehicles are handled according to manufacturer and dealer requirements (e.g. soft-tie systems, handling damage protocol).
- Maintain accurate records/logs of all shipments, incidents, and performance metrics.
Regulatory Compliance & Safety
- Ensure all operations conform to FMCSA, DOT, and other relevant regulations.
- Work with drivers and safety teams to ensure safety protocols are in place and followed.
Problem Solving & Escalations
- Handle operational issues (delays, damage, route changes) quickly and effectively, proposing solutions to minimize cost/time impact.
- Escalate major issues as needed and coordinate corrective actions.
Continuous Improvement
- Analyze transport performance data: on-time delivery, damage rates, cost per mile, etc.
- Identify inefficiencies or bottlenecks and recommend improvements.
- Work with internal teams (operations, maintenance, safety) to implement process improvements.
Pay: $74,526.00 - $80,000.00 per year
