Duties
- Monitor premises through CCTV surveillance and physical patrols to detect suspicious activity or security breaches
- Control access points by verifying identities of employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors
- Respond swiftly and appropriately to emergencies, including medical incidents or security threats, utilizing first aid and CPR skills when necessary
- Manage conflicts professionally by de-escalating tense situations and enforcing security policies
- Document incidents thoroughly through detailed report writing for future reference and investigations
- Conduct regular inspections of the facility to identify vulnerabilities or safety hazards
- Collaborate with law enforcement agencies during investigations or emergencies to ensure proper procedures are followed
Experience
- Prior experience in security, law enforcement, military service, or related fields is highly desirable
- Knowledge of surveillance systems, CCTV operation, and security technology is preferred
- Certification in first aid and CPR is advantageous
- Strong conflict management skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure
- Excellent report writing abilities with attention to detail
- Familiarity with security protocols, emergency response procedures, and legal regulations governing security operations
