Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Firehouse Subs Shift Leader to oversee daily operations, ensure exceptional customer service, and lead our team to success. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a solid background in food service management, and a passion for delivering high-quality dining experiences. Duties
- Supervise and coordinate shift activities to ensure smooth restaurant operations
- Lead staff training and development to maintain high standards of food safety, customer service, and hospitality
- Oversee food preparation, cooking, and food handling processes in compliance with safety regulations
- Manage POS systems including Aloha POS and Micros POS for order processing and cash handling
- Control inventory levels, monitor stock rotation, and assist with ordering supplies as needed
- Ensure adherence to food safety standards and sanitation procedures
- Handle customer inquiries, resolve complaints promptly, and promote a positive dining experience
- Assist with staffing schedules, interviewing potential team members, and managing shift coverage
- Support kitchen management tasks including food production, catering, and bar service when necessary
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the restaurant environment
Experience
- Proven management experience in quick service & fast food restaurants or casual dining settings
- Strong background in food preparation, cooking, and food safety practices
- Experience with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS is preferred
- Demonstrated leadership skills in supervising teams within the food industry or hospitality management
- Prior experience in staff training, training & development programs, and restaurant management roles is highly desirable
- Background in culinary arts or fine dining is a plus but not required
- Experience with inventory control, budgeting, and food management processes
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to handle high-pressure situations effectively
