Dove Medical Supply is a woman-owned medical supply company serving healthcare facilities and government customers nationwide. Since 2013, we have built relationships with more than 900 manufacturer partners and support over 1,300 customer locations across the country. Our team specializes in laboratory, medical, and healthcare products, with a strong focus on responsive service, competitive sourcing, and solving problems for our customers. We are a growing, hands-on company where employees have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact and grow with the organization.
We are located in Summerfield. We built our company on family property and are located on a family farm. We also have a retail division serving the Triad with 7 locations throughout.
Responsibilities for this job include:
Submitting purchase orders
Getting backorder status
Vendor relationship management
Coordinate large equipment installs between the vendor and Dove
Assisting the operations with additional duties
Getting product information from vendors
Qualifications & Skills
Basic proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ability to learn new software systems quickly
Strong math skills and comfort working with pricing, quantities, percentages, and basic calculations
Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
Ability to follow tasks through from start to finish and verify that all necessary steps have been completed
Self-motivated and proactive; able to identify issues and take appropriate next steps without constant direction
Strong problem-solving skills and willingness to research solutions when issues arise
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Comfortable communicating professionally with manufacturers, distributors, vendors, and internal departments
Ability to monitor open orders, backorders, confirmations, and other outstanding items and follow through until resolution
Dependable, accountable, and able to meet deadlines consistently
Able to maintain accurate records and documentation
Works well independently while also collaborating with a team
Purchasing, inventory, medical supply, distribution, or healthcare industry experience is a plus, but we are willing to train the right candidate
