Overview
We are seeking a knowledgeable and enthusiastic Budtender to join our team. As a Budtender, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service and educating clients about our wide range of cannabis products. Your passion for cannabis and commitment to helping customers will enhance their experience and ensure they leave satisfied with their purchases.
Responsibilities
- Engage with customers to understand their needs and provide tailored product recommendations.
- Educate customers about different strains, consumption methods, and product benefits.
- Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system efficiently for transactions and inventory management.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming environment in the retail space.
- Assist in stocking shelves and managing inventory levels to ensure product availability.
- Conduct product demonstrations to showcase new items and educate customers on usage.
- Handle customer inquiries via phone with professionalism and excellent phone etiquette.
- Supervise junior staff members, ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures.
- Utilize retail math skills to assist with sales reporting and inventory tracking.
Requirements
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on creating positive shopping experiences.
- Excellent communication abilities, both verbal and written, to effectively convey product information.
- Previous experience in retail sales or a similar customer-facing role is preferred.
- Familiarity with POS systems and retail operations is advantageous.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also being self-motivated.
- Knowledge of cannabis products, including strains, edibles, concentrates, and accessories is a plus.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail for managing stock and inventory accurately.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $19.00 - $22.00 per hour
