* Efficiently open new membership/share accounts correctly and follow proper guidelines.
* Perform various tasks including, but not limited to: deposits, loan payments, withdrawals, account transfers, address maintenance, account reconciliation, issuing stop payments, filing, etc.
*Develop an operational knowledge of the CU’s data processing system within a reasonable length of time.
*Explains, promotes, and sells credit union products and services as appropriate based on individual member needs.
*Basic IRA and share certificate knowledge, providing assistance to members with questions about these services.
* Comply with all BSA requirements and maintain a thorough understanding of state and federal laws and regulations related to credit union compliance including bank secrecy and anti-money laundering laws.
*Must have strong communication and organizational skills as well as being detail oriented with a high degree of accuracy.
*Must be able to work with little assistance. Good note taker. Must be able to multitask effectively.
*Previous teller experience preferred but not required.
