Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Warehouse Associate to join our team. This role is essential in ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse by managing inventory, processing shipments, and maintaining an organized work environment. The ideal candidate will have experience in warehouse operations and a strong understanding of materials handling and inventory control.
Duties
- Receive, inspect, and process incoming shipments to ensure accuracy and quality.
- Manage stock levels and assist with inventory control to maintain optimal supply.
- Prepare orders for shipment by picking, packing, and labeling products accurately.
- Utilize forklift safely to move heavy materials throughout the warehouse.
- Collaborate with the warehouse supervisor to ensure efficient workflow and adherence to safety protocols.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization within the warehouse to promote a safe working environment.
Skills
- Proficiency in shipping and receiving processes.
- Experience with materials handling techniques.
- Ability to operate forklifts and cranes safely and efficiently.
- Strong organizational skills for managing stock levels effectively.
- Excellent attention to detail to ensure accuracy in order fulfillment.
- Previous experience in a warehouse setting is preferred but not mandatory.
- Legible handwriting is an absolute necessity
