Certified Nursing Assistant Job Description
The role of our Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) is crucial to the life of our community. These caregivers assist senior residents with direct care needs while helping to maintain a safe and healthy environment. These caregivers get to know residents on a personal level and will alert leadership when a resident’s needs change. CNAs must be dedicated, compassionate, and respectful. CNAs are hands-on caregivers who make a positive difference in the lives of our residents each and every day.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct care to residents
- Document care accurately
- Report incidents or changes in any resident’s condition to supervising nurse
- Assist with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
- Participate in resident life enrichment programs
- Interact respectfully with residents and family members to address concerns
- Participate in staff training
- Other tasks as requested by supervisor
Qualifications
- Valid Certified Nursing Assistant license
- CPR and First Aid certification or ability to acquire within 60 days
- Experience in senior care is preferred
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour
