Job Description
This role provides essential front-office support in a medical practice, focusing on answering incoming calls, scheduling patient appointments, and delivering courteous, efficient service to patients and clinical staff.
Responsibilities

Answer incoming phone calls promptly and professionally, routing calls to the appropriate staff and providing clear information to patients.

Schedule and confirm patient appointments accurately, ensuring that appointment times and details align with provider availability.

Perform data entry tasks, including updating patient information, recording appointment details, and maintaining accurate records in practice systems.

Provide friendly, responsive customer service to patients, visitors, and healthcare providers, addressing questions and concerns in a helpful manner.

Offer administrative support to clinical and office staff, assisting with daily office operations as needed.

Collaborate with team members to ensure a smooth patient flow and a positive experience throughout the visit.

Follow office procedures and guidelines to maintain confidentiality and support efficient practice operations.
Essential Skills

Proven ability to answer and manage phone calls in a professional and courteous manner.

Experience scheduling appointments and coordinating calendars in a medical or administrative setting.

Strong data entry skills with attention to accuracy and detail.

Customer service experience, with the ability to communicate clearly and respectfully with patients and colleagues.

Demonstrated ability to work effectively as a team player in a busy office environment.

No license required for this position.
Additional Skills & Qualifications

Previous administrative support experience in a healthcare or medical office environment is beneficial.

Work Environment
This position is based in a medical office with openings in cardiology and obstetrics departments. The role follows a Monday through Friday schedule, from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., providing a consistent daytime work schedule. The environment is professional, patient-focused, and collaborative, with staff working closely to support daily clinical operations and ensure a positive experience for patients.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Greenwich, CT.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $23.00/hr.
