Role Overview
The Lead Nail Technician sets the technical and cultural standard for EARTH Nail Spa. This role supports management by ensuring service consistency, sanitation compliance, team accountability, and elevated client experience standards.
The Lead Technician is expected to model professionalism, technical excellence, and leadership at all times.
This is a working leadership role. The Lead Technician maintains a service schedule while also providing guidance and support to the team.
Core Responsibilities
Technical Leadership
Maintain the highest level of service quality and consistency
Serve as a technical resource for nail technicians
Monitor adherence to service protocols and brand standards
Support training of new technicians during onboarding
Provide real time coaching when standards are not met
Service Sanitation Oversight
Ensure hospital grade sterilization protocols are followed consistently
Monitor workstation cleanliness and organization
Reinforce proper callus care, gel application, builder gel structure, and Gel-X standards
Address sanitation or service concerns immediately
Team Support Accountability
Assist in coordinating opening and closing duties
Help maintain salon organization and operational flow
Provide feedback to management regarding team performance and morale
Support conflict resolution when appropriate
Promote a collaborative, non competitive team environment
Client Experience
Model elevated client communication and professionalism
Support service recovery when concerns arise
Help maintain consistent client satisfaction standards
Reinforce membership education through service excellence
