Responsibilities will include but not limited to: Working closely with the kennel owner and manager to manage the care of intelligent working dogs. Following kennel policies and procedures while working efficiently as a part of the team.
Handling shift duties of the kennel including: Cleaning of kennels, Following detailed instructions & keeping detailed records for: feeding/care instructions, for dogs ,sheep, horses, cats and birds, monitoring behavior, supervising exercise and turn outs, property maintenance. Assisting with all aspects of the breeding program: observing heat cycles, stud cover, whelping and weaning. Responsibly handling all care of the animals as a part of a team.
Candidate Requirements: Kennel Assistant: 1 year (Required); Animal Care: 1 year (Required); High School or Equivalent (Required); have reliable transportation and current drivers license.
