Direct Support Professional (DSP) – Male Preferred (CNA/HCA Preferred)
Location: Tacoma, WA
Position Summary
Connect Fortune Care is seeking compassionate and reliable Direct Support Professionals to support children and youth with developmental disabilities in a residential setting. DSPs provide direct care, behavioral support, community integration, transportation, and skill-building while ensuring a safe and structured environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with daily living activities, including hygiene, meals, dressing, and personal care.
- Implement individualized support and behavior plans.
- Support community outings, appointments, recreation, and life-skills development.
- Transport clients using agency-approved vehicles.
- Administer medications as trained and authorized.
- Complete daily documentation, behavior logs, and incident reports.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and supportive environment.
Qualifications
Required:
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Valid Driver's License and current auto insurance.
- Ability to pass a background check.
- Current TB test (within 12 months).
Preferred:
- CNA, HCA, or NAR credential.
- CPR/First Aid Certification.
- Nurse Delegation.
- Experience supporting individuals with developmental disabilities, autism, or behavioral challenges.

Schedule
Day, evening, overnight, weekend, and holiday shifts may be required.
