Responsibilities
- Assist in the installation of various types of fences using hand tools, power tools, and construction equipment
- Measure and mark fence lines accurately to ensure proper placement and alignment
- Prepare construction sites by clearing debris, digging post holes, and setting concrete foundations as needed
- Support carpentry tasks such as framing, framing carpentry, and assembly of fence components
- Operate heavy machinery and tools safely to facilitate efficient installation processes
- Perform general labor duties including lifting heavy materials, mixing concrete, and landscape maintenance tasks
- Maintain a clean work environment by organizing tools and disposing of waste materials properly
Requirements
- Prior experience in construction or related fields such as carpentry, masonry, or landscape maintenance is preferred but not required; training will be provided for motivated candidates
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and physically demanding tasks throughout the workday
- Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and basic construction techniques such as concrete forming and finishing
- Strong work ethic with attention to safety protocols on construction sites
- Good communication skills and ability to follow instructions accurately
- Willingness to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and support team efforts in a fast-paced environment
- Basic knowledge of masonry or hardscape projects is a plus but not mandatory
