Lead Plumbing Manufacturing Operations
Kodiak is seeking an experienced Manufacturing Operations Supervisor – Plumbing to oversee daily warehouse operations, plumbing prefabrication, and material staging within our manufacturing facility.
This is an excellent opportunity for a proven leader with experience in commercial plumbing, manufacturing operations, Lean principles, and team leadership. You'll play a key role in ensuring quality, safety, and production efficiency while supporting commercial construction projects.
What You'll Do
- Supervise daily warehouse, plumbing prefabrication, and material staging operations.
- Coordinate manpower and production workflow to support project schedules.
- Ensure plumbing materials and prefabricated assemblies are completed accurately and delivered on time.
- Lead quality inspections and drive operational efficiency.
- Implement Lean Manufacturing initiatives including 5S, Kaizen, and standardized work.
- Manage inventory, receiving, storage, and material tracking.
- Collaborate with procurement, project managers, and field operations.
- Enforce OSHA safety standards and promote a strong safety culture.
- Coach, mentor, and develop warehouse and plumbing personnel.
Qualifications
Required
- 5+ years of supervisory experience in plumbing, mechanical construction, manufacturing, or related operations.
- Strong understanding of commercial plumbing systems, materials, and installation practices.
- Knowledge of IPC, UPC, or local plumbing codes.
- Experience managing manpower, productivity, and operational workflows.
- Lean Manufacturing experience (5S, Kaizen, Continuous Improvement).
- Experience using ERP, MRP, or Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Knowledge of OSHA safety regulations.
Preferred
- Journeyman or Master Plumber License.
- Commercial plumbing prefabrication experience.
- Experience supporting manufacturing or fabrication operations.
