7 Slade Inc. is currently seeking a part time Maintenance Porter. This job position consists of a minimum of 20-25 hours a week with some weekends and holidays required.
Essential Functions:
-Perform maintenance functions and common area cleaning
-Duties include, but are not limited to, cleaning, painting, interior/exterior maintenance, snow-removal, replacement of lights and bulbs, plumbing, electrical work, etc.
-General cleaning duties: dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing common areas
-Trash and recycling removal
-Ensure cleanliness and safety of indoor/outdoor common areas
-Operate cleaning equipment and tools (provided)
-Must be comfortable using an electric jack
Job Requirements:
-On call may be required
-High School Diploma/GED Equivalent, Trade School or some college a plus
-1 year experience as a porter and maintenance is required
-Multitask
-Must be dependable and punctual
-Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
-Ability to follow instructions and work independently
-Must be able to lift over 50 lbs
-Maintain maintenance ticket system for accurate record keeping
-Be available to deal with emergency situations during and after hours
-Routine inspections of the property

-Professional appearance
-Background check required
-Must have a valid Driver's License in good standing
-Computer Skills -- Basic computer skills required
Pay: From $17.00 per hour
