This position is to assist assigned facilities in maintaining substantial compliance with current Federal, State, local, and Corporate standards; maintaining or increasing census; and maintaining operations within budgetary limitations. As Regional Director of Operations, this role is delegated the administrative authority, responsibility, and accountability necessary to carry out assigned duties.
Must be a currently licensed Administrator. Will be required to obtain licensure in States where assigned facilities operate. Must have a minimum of five years experience in a supervisory capacity in a skilled Nursing Facility or other related healthcare program. Must possess a working knowledge of Long Term Care operational standards as set forth in Federal Register, Conditions of Participation, and State regulations.

Visit each facility a minimum of monthly to review:

Physical plant of the facility

Outdoor grounds

Indoor general appearance

Dietary provisions, including kitchen and meal service

General maintenance

Activity participation
-
Compliance with policies

Monitor facility census and PPDs daily.

Complete monthly audit tool.

Complete quarterly audit tool.

Review PARs for assigned facilities.

Review Administrator expense reports.

Assist facility during survey.

Assist with implementing Plans of Correction.

Review resident referrals that facility plans to deny.

Review the monthly quality assurance report.

Review financial reports for each facility and obtain feedback from each Administrator regarding areas of concern.

Make necessary written and oral reports, as required, concerning the operations of the facilities.

Interpret the facility's policies and procedures to employees, residents, family members, visitors, government agencies, etc., as necessary.

Develop and maintain a good working rapport with facility, regional, and corporate personnel.
