Spondeo Montessori is a private Montessori school located in Gilbert, AZ. We are currently looking for friendly and experienced infant & toddler teacher assistants to join our team. Full time hours are between 7a - 5:30p and applicant must be able to work any time between those hours .

Teacher Assistant Responsibilities:
- Assisting the lead teacher in safely monitoring the children as they develop and engage in school day activities
- Preparing snacks for morning or afternoon time frames
- Keeping the classroom clean and in order
- Notating incidents and daily tracking, either written or electronic
- Engaging and connecting with the children throughout the day
- Diaper changing and toilet practices
- Collaborating with one another to ensure a caring, environment
- Must have a positive attitude
- Communicate kindly with adults and children
- Outstanding interpersonal communication abilities
- Lift up to 50lbs
Teacher Assistant Mandatory Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent qualification
- Valid DPS fingerprint clearance card prior to start date
- Maricopa County food handlers’ card or willingness to obtain one prior to start date
- CPR/First Aide Card prior to start date; or willingness to obtain
- AZ Centralized Background Check
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.50 - $16.50 per hour
