We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Floor Coating Installer to join our dynamic team. Duties
- Prepare flooring surfaces by cleaning, sanding, and repairing cracks or imperfections using hand tools and power tools.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to ensure accurate application of coatings.
- Apply various types of floor coatings including epoxy, polyurethane, stains, and sealers with airless paint spraying equipment or brushes.
- Perform surface treatments such as plastering, caulking, and stucco work to ensure proper adhesion of coatings.
- Execute renovation projects by removing old coatings, repairing damaged areas, and restoring surfaces to their original condition.
- Use construction estimating skills to determine material quantities and project timelines effectively.
- Maintain safety standards on construction sites by adhering to protocols related to industrial painting, masonry work, welding, and the use of hand and power tools.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in construction painting, industrial painting, or related renovation work with a focus on flooring applications.
- Familiarity with blueprint reading, schematics, and technical diagrams relevant to construction projects.
- Skilled in the use of hand tools such as scrapers, grinders, caulking guns, and other floor grinding/prep equipment
- Knowledge of color theory for selecting appropriate finishes and coatings for different environments.
- Ability to operate power tools including airless paint sprayers and concrete finishing equipment safely and efficiently.
- Basic math skills for measuring surfaces accurately and estimating material needs.
- Hands-on experience with masonry, stucco application, fixture installation, restoration work, or remodeling projects is a plus.

Pay: $750.00 - $1,500.00 per week
