Duties
- Monitor surveillance systems such as CCTV cameras to oversee activity across the premises and identify potential security threats.
- Control access for employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors by verifying credentials and issuing passes.
- Conduct regular patrols of the property to detect unauthorized activity, hazards, or safety violations.
- Respond promptly to alarms, incidents, or emergencies by coordinating with law enforcement or emergency services when necessary.
- Enforce security policies and procedures, including loss prevention measures and conflict management protocols.
- Maintain detailed logs of daily activities, incident reports, and security checks to ensure accurate record-keeping.
- Provide first aid or CPR if needed and assist in emergency situations with confidence and professionalism.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in security roles, law enforcement, military service, or related fields is highly desirable.
- Certifications in first aid, CPR, or conflict management are preferred; ongoing training is encouraged.
- Familiarity with surveillance technology such as CCTV systems and loss prevention techniques.
- Strong observational skills with the ability to remain alert during long shifts.
- Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with team members, visitors, and emergency responders.
