Job Overview
The Club at Admirals Cove is one of Florida’s most prestigious private residential golf and marina communities, situated on 1,100 acres along the Intracoastal Waterway in Jupiter. The Club serves a discerning membership across 45 championship holes of golf, a full-service deep-water marina, the Bluewater Wellness spa, salon & barber, and fitness center, the Waterside Private Boutique Hotel, multiple dining venues, and a world-class sports and recreation program — all supported by a professional management team committed to the highest standards of member experience.
We are seeking a Director of Information Technology to lead the Club’s technology vision, operations, and team. This is a highly visible, hands-on leadership role reporting directly to the Chief Financial Officer. The right candidate leads from the front — personally engaged in daily ticket management across all Club departments, driving resolution, and setting the service standard by example. Full IT and AV responsibility across a complex, multi-venue luxury facility.
This is a hands-on working leadership role. The Director is personally in the ticket queue every day — triaging across all departments, driving resolution, and setting the standard for the team. The co-managed MSP partnership provides strategic and engineering depth, but this Director leads from the front.

The strongest candidates will combine genuine IT leadership experience with the financial fluency, communication skills, and service orientation that a luxury private club demands. The Club is not looking for the most technically deep engineer in the room — it is looking for the most effective technology leader.
- Hands-on working style: This is a working leadership role. The Director is in the ticket queue every day — triaging, assigning, following up, and closing. Candidates who prefer to manage at a distance are not the right fit. We need someone who is visible, responsive, and personally accountable to department heads across the entire Club.
- Experience: 5+ years leading an IT function, team, or department. Prior experience managing an MSP or co-managed IT relationship strongly preferred. Hospitality, private club, resort, or hotel environment experience is a meaningful differentiator. Familiarity with Jonas Club Software, Chorum, or Book for Time is a plus.
- Financial competency: Demonstrated experience building and managing an IT operating and capital budget from scratch. Ability to present budget-to-actual variance analysis to a CFO or Finance Committee.
- Leadership: Proven track record supervising IT and/or AV staff. Able to set clear expectations, develop people, and hold the team accountable — including accountability to MSP escalation protocols.
- Technical foundation: Solid working knowledge of cloud productivity platforms, Windows Server, network infrastructure, cloud security, VoIP telephony, and endpoint management. Broad operational competency across all disciplines matters more than deep expertise in any one.
Communication: Comfortable translating complex technology topics for a non-technical CFO and senior leadership team. Able to write clearly, present confidently, and operate professionally in a member-facing luxury environment.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field preferred. Given the co-managed structure of this role, the Club will consider the following equivalencies:
- B.S./B.A. + 5 years of IT leadership experience
- Associate’s degree + 8 years of IT leadership experience
- No degree + 10 years of demonstrated IT leadership, with at least two current professional or expert-level certifications
Relevant certifications in cloud administration, networking, cybersecurity, or systems management carry real weight in this evaluation and will be considered competitively alongside a four-year degree when paired with strong management experience.
