Job Description: Chef De Cuisine
Location: The Carriage House
Reports To: Executive Chef
Status: Full Time (Hourly)
Summary: Responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the cook and kitchen, ensuring that all food served meets the highest quality standards.
Duties:

Ensuring that all food meets the highest quality standards and is served on time

Stock ingredients and equipment and place orders as needed

Kitchen staff training

Follow recipes, including measuring, weighing and mixing ingredients

Evaluates and resolves food quality issues as necessary.
Qualifications:
-
Must have 2-3 years’ experience in a chef position
-
Must have 1-2 years banquet experience
-
Must have strong culinary knowledge
-
Excellent communication skills and leadership qualities
-
Ability to handle pressure in high volume environment

Responsible for production and execution of weddings and events

Experience with managing inventories and stock

Passion for creating food that delights and attracts guests
