Position Summary
As a Bakery Operations Coordinator, you will be responsible for leading the day-to-day operations of the bakery while setting the standard for customer service, product quality, and team performance. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader who enjoys working alongside their team, developing people, and creating an environment where both employees and customers thrive.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead by example by delivering exceptional customer service and serving as the face of The French Bakery.
- Ensure every guest receives a warm welcome and an outstanding experience.
- Resolve customer concerns professionally and effectively.
- Maintain the highest standards of quality for pastries, breads, desserts, beverages, and kitchen menu items.
- Coach, motivate, and develop Shift Leaders and team members.
- Foster a positive, productive, and team-oriented work environment.
- Monitor operational performance and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Control costs, minimize waste, and promote operational efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety standards.
- Uphold and enforce company policies, procedures, and service standards.
- Support ongoing training and development to elevate team performance.
- Communicate effectively with leadership and team members.
- Promote The French Bakery within the local community and help build lasting customer relationships.
Qualifications
- Previous management experience in a bakery, café, restaurant, coffee shop, or retail environment is required.
- Strong leadership and team-building skills.
- Passion for hospitality and customer service.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong organizational and operational skills.
- Availability to work mornings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
