Our private school is seeking an enthusiastic, reliable, and compassionate teacher to lead literacy, math, and enrichment instruction for our small, mixed-grade K–6 classroom. We believe children learn best through meaningful relationships, engaging instruction, hands-on learning, and teachers who genuinely enjoy what they do.
This is a school-year position (August through May) with approximately 4 weeks of school breaks, including 1 paid week.
What You'll Do
- Teach literacy, math, and enrichment classes
- Differentiate instruction for students with varying skill levels
- Use small-group instruction, learning centers, and hands-on activities
- Create a calm, organized, and welcoming classroom
- Build strong relationships with students and families
- Help children become confident, independent learners
We're Looking For Someone Who...
- Holds a Bachelor's degree (required)
- Has experience working with elementary-aged children
- Is dependable and has excellent attendance
- Brings enthusiasm, patience, and professionalism to work each day
- Enjoys collaborating with others and continually growing as an educator
- Believes every child deserves to feel capable, encouraged, and known
