Interested in the legal system? Participate in an online focus group and share your opinions.
Jury Impressions is looking for individuals to participate in an online legal research focus group. Participants will review information about a legal case and share their opinions and perspectives as part of a research study.
Mock Jury Focus Group Date: Tuesday, September 1
Hours: 4:00 PM–7:00 PM PT
Eligible County: San Bernardino, California
Compensation: $125 for full participation
Who Is Eligible?
Participants must:
- Be 18 years of age or older
- Be a U.S. citizen
- Reside in San Bernardino County, California
- You must provide proof of residency
- Be able to speak, read, and write English fluently
- Have access to a smartphone, tablet, laptop, or desktop computer
- Have high-speed internet access
- Have a working webcam and microphone
- Have access to a quiet, private space for the focus group
- Be comfortable participating in an online video session
Additional qualifications may apply depending on the study.
What to Expect
- The focus group will take place entirely online.
- You will review information about a legal case and may be asked to answer questions, complete a questionnaire, and share your opinions.
- You may participate in group discussions and other research activities.
- If selected, you must be available for the entire 4:00 PM–7:00 PM PT session.
- A brief technology check will be conducted through Zoom before the focus group.
- Registering does not guarantee that you will be selected to participate.

3. Selection
Participants are selected based on the specific requirements of the study, including location and demographic qualifications. We may recruit more qualified individuals than are needed, so completing the registration or screening process does not guarantee selection.
4. Participate
If you are selected, you will receive instructions for joining the online focus group.
5. Complete the Study
You must participate in the full session to complete the study and receive the $125 compensation.
