Overview
Position has primary responsibility for overall business management and accounting practice5 for two parishes. This position requires that the incumbent be a practicing and knowledgeable Roman Catholic with a strong knowledge and desire to promote Catholic teachings and catechesis.
Duties
- Greet parishioners and guests, answer phone, monitor email
- Statistical reports, preparation of parishioner giving statements, insurance reports, correspondence.
- Attend diocesan workshops / meetings, assist with committees
- Facilities Management: maintain communication, reserve communal spaces, coordinate with custodial staff and those who lock/unlock facilities
- Maintain personnel records, develop job descriptions, employee training, keep employees and councils informed about legal standards which affect church personnel.
- Communications: Publish weekly bulletin, send flock notes, coordinate calendars amongst committees, coordinate volunteer involvement
- Maintain parish member records, including registering new families
- Coordinate with Faith Formation director to record sacramental celebrations and sacraments received
- Serve as the principal contact person for both parishes.

- Assume other duties as directed/assigned
Experience
Office Management
- Proven management experience with a strong background in supervising teams and leading organizational change.
- Demonstrated expertise in strategic planning with a track record of executing successful business strategies.
- Solid understanding of profit & loss management, financial analysis, and budget oversight.
- Experience in business development and sales growth within a competitive market environment.
- Skilled in project management methodologies with the ability to oversee multiple initiatives simultaneously.
- Strong leadership qualities with excellent communication skills to motivate teams and build stakeholder relationships.

Financial Management
- Meet with Finance Council 6 times per year or as needed. Work under their direction, planning and monitoring current and future budgets, financial statements and stewardship issue
- Supervise and carry out Pastor - directed responsibilities for receipts, disbursements, deposits and withdrawal
- Payroll, quarterly and annual payroll tax reports
- Accounts Receivables, Accounts Payables and Bank Account Reconciliation
- Coordinate with other parish staff to cross-train and provide support of all financial responsibilities

- Believes, understands and is respectful of the teachings of the Catholic faith.
Qualifications:
Required: Minimum 3-5 years of bookkeeping and general office experience.
Desired: · Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, or Accounting · Previous experience supporting parish office administration · Strong knowledge of Catholic teaching, catechesis · Multi-lingual
Pay: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour
