Duties
- Greet customers warmly and assist them in finding products or services that meet their needs
- Provide detailed information about merchandise, including features, benefits, and pricing
- Process transactions accurately using cash handling, cashiering, and retail math skills
- Support banking and financial services functions such as loan processing and account inquiries when applicable
- Maintain cash management procedures to ensure secure handling of cash and financial transactions
- Use financial software and perform basic math calculations to support sales and administrative tasks
- Deliver exceptional customer service by addressing questions, resolving issues promptly, and ensuring customer satisfaction
Experience
- Previous retail sales experience is preferred but not required; enthusiasm for helping customers is essential
- Familiarity with banking or financial services enhances ability to assist with loan processing or account questions
- Strong basic math skills, including retail math and 10 key typing proficiency, are necessary for accurate transactions
- Experience with cash handling, cashiering, or cash management systems is advantageous
- Excellent communication skills and a positive attitude are vital for engaging with diverse customers
- Ability to learn new software tools related to sales, financial transactions, or customer management
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and a passion for delivering outstanding customer service
