The operator will work within AAE’s multidisciplinary team—including engineers, environmental scientists, and data specialists—to ensure safe, compliant, and efficient operation of treatment systems that integrate advanced sensors, biological monitoring, and automated control technologies.
This role is ideal for a technically skilled operator who wants to work in a science‑driven environment and contribute to innovative water‑quality management solutions.
Key ResponsibilitiesWater Treatment Operations
Operate and monitor pumps, filtration systems, disinfection systems, circulation equipment, and chemical feed systems.
Adjust treatment processes based on sensor data, laboratory results, and operational conditions.
Maintain stable water‑quality parameters across medium‑complexity treatment systems.
Support chemical dosing operations (e.g., hydrogen peroxide, ozone residual control).
Water Quality Monitoring
Conduct daily and weekly testing for pH, turbidity, dissolved oxygen, nitrogen species, phosphorus, chlorophyll‑A, conductivity, hardness, TDS/TSS, and other required parameters.
Calibrate sensors and instruments used in AAE’s control and monitoring systems.
Document water‑quality trends and provide operational recommendations to engineering and scientific staff.
System Maintenance
Perform preventive maintenance on pumps, filters, screens, separators, and related mechanical systems.
Assist with inspections, equipment evaluations, and vendor‑supported maintenance activities.
Identify operational issues and support troubleshooting efforts.
Data & Control Systems
