Premier Cabinets and More is looking for a dependable and hardworking cabinet installer helper to join our team. This position focuses primarily on helping the lead cabinet installer.
We are looking for someone who is motivated, reliable, and comfortable working with hand and power tools. Experience in carpentry, cabinetry, furniture assembly, construction, or a related field is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Assist with cabinet installations in new construction and remodel projects.
- Assemble cabinets and cabinet components accurately and efficiently
- Load, unload, and deliver cabinets to job sites
- Maintain a clean, organized, and professional workspace
- Work with team members to complete projects on schedule
- Build and install structures, including cabinetry and shelving, with precision and attention to detail.
- Perform service work, punch lists, and field modifications
- Operate hand tools and power tools, including electric drills safely
- Adhere to work scheduled
- Self-motivated and ability to take initiative
- Must be willing and able to lift up to 50 lbs. and at times work in un-air-conditioned environments.
Qualifications
Candidates should be mechanically inclined, handy with tools, and have a background in construction or a related field, with experience in the following areas being highly desirable:
- Caulking techniques and applications.
- Building structures with an emphasis on craftsmanship.
- Trim carpentry skills for interior finishing work
- Ability to lift and carry heavy materials
- Valid driver’s license
- Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn
- Reliable transportation and punctuality required
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
