Healthy Generations Area Agency on Aging is seeking a compassionate, dependable Van Driver / Café Support team member to join our mission-driven organization. This part-time position offers a unique opportunity to provide safe, courteous transportation to older adults and support engaging activities and meal services at our vibrant Senior Cafés.
What You’ll Do: As a Van Driver / Café Support staff member, you’ll wear two hats—transporting seniors safely to and from our café sites and contributing to daily café operations, including:
- Providing door-to-door transportation for seniors and individuals with disabilities
- Assisting with meal prep, service, and kitchen cleanup
- Helping set up and break down tables, chairs, and activity materials
- Supporting café activities like crafts, games, presentations, and light exercise
- Collaborating with Café Managers and team members to create a welcoming environment
What We’re Looking For:
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid Virginia driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Ability to assist individuals with mobility needs (lifting up to 50 lbs.)
- Strong interpersonal skills, patience, and a customer-service mindset
- Willingness to learn and follow safety and food handling protocols
- Must pass a background check
- Food handling certificate required (can be completed upon hire)
Schedule: 3 days a week with exception for agency special events, Work hours will generally be 7:00 AM - 4:30 PM
This position is primarily located in Stafford, Virginia
