Job Description
We have been a successful name in the transportation business for over 40 years operating over 300 semi-trucks. To continue our strength and growth, we are currently seeking to add a dynamic communicator to fill the position of Driver Recruiter. The ideal candidate must be self-starting, enthusiastic and a great communicator with excellent phone skills. The primary focus will be to recruit qualified CDL drivers to fill our truck driving positions. We are focused on hiring someone with prior CDL Truck Driver Recruiting experience.
Responsibilities:
Connect with prospective drivers who have expressed interest in driving for our company as either and Owner Operator or Lease Purchase driver. An ongoing data base of leads is provided primarily through Tenstreet.
Coordinate with the recruiter admin person to insure background checks, Motor Vehicle Reports and other reports necessary to ensure applicants comply with our hiring standards as well as coordinate and schedule new hires for orientation.
Other duties as assigned as necessary.
Desired Skills:
Excellent customer service and communication skills
Willingness to make numerous phone calls daily to prospective driver applicants
One or more years of experience with CDL driver recruiting is required
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: Minimum of $50,000 per year (based on experience) plus hiring incentive bonus.
