American Traveler is seeking an experienced Cath Lab RN for a travel contract requiring at least 1 year of Cath Lab experience, ACLS certification, and availability for on-call rotations.

Hospital-based Cath Lab setting

Day shift schedule, 5x8-hour shifts, with a start time of 7:00 AM and one late start day per week at 8:00 AM
-
On-call required one night per week and every 4th weekend
-
May float to Interventional Radiology when Cath Lab caseload is low

Standard room team consists of 4 persons, but candidates must be able to operate independently with a 3-person team

3-person call team

Active Indiana RN license or Compact RN license required (pending license accepted, but must be active by start date)

Current certifications: ACLS and BLS required; NIHSS preferred

Minimum 1 year of Cath Lab RN experience required; first-time travelers must have at least 2 years of Cath Lab experience

Ability to work independently with a reduced 3-person team when necessary

Must reside at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible

2 professional references from a supervisor within the past 2 years required for consideration

Full 7-year work history with all gaps explained required for consideration

Blue scrubs are provided by the facility

First-time travelers are welcome to apply but must have a minimum of 2 years of Cath Lab experience

Candidates with only 1 year of experience must have prior travel experience in a Cath Lab setting

All time-off and scheduling requests must be submitted at the time of application

Local candidates are not accepted; travelers must live at least 50 miles from the facility
