The Zervas After School Program in Newton is looking for an active, caring, and enthusiastic teacher to work with students in a enrichment program. Join our team and share your skills and talents in a nurturing recreational environment. The position is for grades K through 5.
This position is part-time hourly.
The hours for the position are Thursdays, Fridays from 2:30 p.m. to 6 p.m. and Wednesdays from 12:00 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Must be able to work scheduled days.
Duties to include: Supervise students and guide them through their day. Engage students in fun, enriching curriculum, supervise indoor and outdoor activities, interact positively through play.
Work within a team providing care to students.
1 year working in a childcare center, team sports or camp experience.
Ability to walk, run and move while interacting with students. The ability to lift 30 pounds without limitation and to stand for long periods of time.
