Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and energetic Assistant Manager to oversee operations at our concession stand. Duties
- Supervise daily concession stand operations, ensuring efficient service and adherence to safety standards
- Oversee food preparation, cooking, and presentation to maintain quality and consistency
- Manage POS systems such as Square POS for accurate transactions and cash handling
- Control inventory levels, order supplies, and monitor stock to minimize waste and optimize food availability
- Train staff on food safety protocols, customer service excellence, and operational procedures
- Lead shift management by scheduling staff, assigning tasks, and ensuring timely service during busy periods
- Maintain cleanliness, organization, and compliance with health regulations across all areas of the concession stand
Skills
- Proven experience in food service management within quick service or fast food environments
- Strong knowledge of POS systems including Aloha POS and Micros POS for efficient transaction processing
- Expertise in food preparation, cooking techniques, and kitchen management
- Demonstrated supervisory experience with staff training and team development
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to handle diverse guest needs professionally
- Familiarity with inventory control, budgeting, and food safety standards in hospitality settings
- Leadership qualities with the ability to motivate teams and manage shift operations effectively
