Join Allied Universal as an Armed Patrol Officer in a dynamic retail location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help reduce security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to guests, tenants, and store personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities within a retail location.

Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting details and communicating with local law enforcement and/or emergency personnel when needed.

Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the sales floor, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.

Monitor entrances, high-traffic areas, and restricted spaces while maintaining awareness of potential theft, trespassing, and/or disorderly conduct concerns common to a retail environment.

Carry and maintain assigned armed post equipment in accordance with site rules, Allied Universal policies, and applicable laws while using sound judgment during routine duties and incident response.
Minimum Requirements:

Be at least 21 years of age.

Possess a concealed carry weapons permit.

Have at least 1 year of armed security-related, law enforcement, and/or military experience.

Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Participate in industry-specific security training programs.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
