Seaport Entertainment Group is looking for seasonal bartenders to join our team for our summer waterfront concession, Riverdeck Bar. This indoor/outdoor venue serves food & beverage to guests of the Heineken Riverdeck, a lively outdoor space located on the north side of Pier 17 that features expansive turf seating, regular public programming & events, and beautiful views of the Brooklyn Bridge.
- Please note this is a seasonal position expected to last based on business needs.
About the Role
Seaport Entertainment is looking for a Bartender to be based in Riverdeck Bar. Reporting to the General Manager, the Bartender is responsible for a range of key tasks and duties that contribute to the overall success and ambiance of the establishment. You play a crucial role in enhancing the overall dining experience by crafting and serving a variety of beverages with precision and flair. Your mixology skills, attention to detail, and customer service expertise contribute to a vibrant and enjoyable atmosphere in the restaurant.
Craft a variety of beverages, including cocktails, beers, wines, and non-alcoholic drinks, following recipes and customer preferences.
Interact with customers in a friendly and engaging manner, taking drink orders, providing recommendations, and creating a positive and enjoyable experience.
Keep the bar area clean, organized, and well-stocked with liquor, mixers, garnishes, and other necessary supplies.
Work closely with other staff members, including servers, kitchen personnel, and management, to coordinate orders and provide seamless service.
Ensure that bar equipment, glassware, and utensils are cleaned and sanitized regularly, maintaining a hygienic and safe environment.
Ability to perform the essential job functions consistently, safely, and successfully with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state, and local standards.
This position is paid a minimum wage of $17 an hour and a tip credit is taken when applicable.
